Since the beginning of November, Management has only been available for a few short bargaining sessions. This has been challenging. We need Management to come to the table and spend a full day with us bargaining. We are willing to work as long and hard as it takes to get a contract we can recommend to you!

At our last meeting, Management increased their proposal on wages in year one. We are continuing to negotiate over wages (we have tentatively agreed on wages for many positions but there are some that are still too low.) We are also still bargaining over shift differentials, standby pay, weekend premium, ratification bonuses, preceptor pay and work on a holiday.

We are getting closer, but it’s slow. We would like to get this finished! We are looking for additional bargaining dates and will update you as soon as we have something to share.
