On Monday, July 20th 2020, workers across the country are taking part in a national #strikeforblacklives to demand racial and economic justice, in our workplaces and community.
UFCW International, The Poor People’s Campaign, Movement for Black Lives and numerous unions and community organizations have endorsed this day of action, and we at UFCW21 plan on joining several actions being planned in our state. There are workers going on strike, but a lot of our members and organizers will not be―they can still, however, be front and center on July 20 and their engagement is critical to making this day successful.
