40th Annual Seattle / King County MLK Day Rally & March! — Truth in Education Now!

On MLK Day — Monday, January 17th, 2022 — join UFCW 21 members and the Seattle / King County MLK Jr. Organizing Coalition for the 40th Annual Seattle / King County MLK Day Rally & March. This is an in-person event with the appropriate COVID-19 safety precautions in place.

The rally begins at 11:00 AM and the march begins at 12:30 PM on Monday, 1/17. We encourage UFCW 21 members to gather together at 10:30 AM to participate in the celebration together and to wear your UFCW 21 swag. The theme of this year’s celebration, rally, and march is “Truth in Education Now!” Additionally, this MLK Day Celebration also marks the Community Kick-off for the 2022 Grocery Store Workers’ Contract Bargain; we are excited to continue to work with community partners across WA State to fight for the best contract possible for frontline, essential workers.

We hope you will join us to remember and celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and to carry forward the legacy of this civil rights icon across WA State.
