Kroger and Albertsons, two of the largest supermarket chains in the United States, announced a $25 billion merger, including a payout of $4 billion to Albertsons’ shareholders.
This has the potential to close stores, increase food prices and cause workers to lose their jobs. It will impact everyone in our communities.
