Thursday, June 4 marked our fourth bargaining session with CommonSpirit management, and also marked the Employer’s initial economic responses. Considering we brought our initial economic proposals all the way back on March 4, we were eager to see what their proposal entailed.
We are disappointed to announce that after a ten-hour bargaining day at our tenth bargaining session, CommonSpirit leadership still failed to present an offer we could recommend our workers ratify.
As such, the following vote has been scheduled so we can share the Employer’s proposed offer — and to be clear, we unanimously recommend voting NO on the Employer’s offer, and voting YES to authorize a strike.
Following just over a month since our last bargaining date with the Employer, we started off our third session ready to continue working with Management on our 2026 – 2029 contract.
