While we were able to win some important improvements around bereavement leave, Weingarten rights, and requiring the Employer to give workers notice about the purpose of disciplinary or investigatory meetings, management continues to fall far short where it matters most: economics.
Contract negotiations kicked off with a strong and positive start, with great energy at the table on our first day. Progress was made as we delivered our initial proposals but there is still more work ahead of us. Next bargaining session date will soon be determined.
