MultiCare Covington Medical Center RN, Service, & Tech Bargaining Update

Yesterday, November 25, our union Bargaining Team representing the RNs, Service and Tech workers met with the Employer for the second time.
 
We have passed across all of our non economic proposals, including but not limited to language around: staffing, extra shifts, low census limitations, parking, rest between shifts etc. We have also passed the majority of economic proposals to the employer but have not received any responses back. The employer committed to having something for the team to review at the beginning of our next session on December 5.
 
While our contract is set to expire on December 3, we are going to work with the Employer to extend the expiration date so that we can fight for a fair contract. We look forward to what we hope will be a productive session on the December 5 and are working towards finding other dates in December as well as into the near future.
