Our Bargaining Team is excited to have reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year contract that will expire September 30, 2029. Our goals this bargaining cycle were to build on the wins from our last contract to address staffing and retention, meal and rest breaks, safety, and explore benefit improvements—all with the goal of retaining the highest skilled nurses to serve our community.
Last week, late Wednesday/early Thursday, we agreed to the terms for a new collective bargaining agreement with management. Our union Bargaining Team fought a persistent employer and we were able to put together a package that includes:

We bargained three days this week June 9 – 11 and will return to the bargaining table July 27 -28. This week our team focused on prioritizing our many language proposals and made significant process. We received the outstanding information requests from the Employer, which allowed us to cost potential proposals regarding health care and engage in continued conversation around the UFCW 3000 pension plan for nurses.
