PEOPLE POWERED POLITICS - Working Together to Make Change

Shukri Hashi has been an active member and workplace leader for years. She was a leader in gathering signatures, filing and winning the first $15 Law, Paid Sick Leave
initiative in the nation. She did all this but she herself was not yet eligible to vote. This fall she became an eligible voter and cast her first ballot. Democracy works when we all participate. Way to go Shukri, and everyone else who joined in the democratic process this year!
