Climate Pledge Arena First Bargaining Session Complete!

Our member led Bargaining Team met with the employer at the bargaining table for the first time on Wednesday, October 7. We presented our comprehensive proposal which included increases to wages, improvements to our Orca Card benefit, immigration protection language as well as safety committee language. The employer received our proposals and gave thoughtful feedback and informed us that they would be working on their counter proposals and will present them to us at our next bargaining session on October 21.

In the meantime, we invite all members to join us for our Contract Action Team meeting on October 14 at 6pm. Our member led Bargaining Team will be there to answer questions, talk about bargaining and discuss what you can do to get involved and help win the best contract possible!
