Commonspirit St. Joseph Medical Center Techs Authorize Strike

Following a series of highly attended vote meetings on Monday, October 5, union technical workers at St. Joseph Medical Center voted nearly unanimously to:

  • Reject CommonSpirit’s subpar contract offer

  • Authorize a STRIKE

This does NOT mean a strike is imminent. However, our Union Bargaining Team is now empowered to call a strike over the Employer’s suspected unfair labor practices- like potential surveillance and coercion regarding union activity during this bargain. We are reaching out to St. Joe’s management to schedule additional negotiation sessions and expect that the Employer will show up ready to bargain in good faith and agree to a fair contract!

KEEP THE PRESSURE HIGH AND OUR VOICE UNITED:

  • Wear your union swag with pride at work (ask your Union Rep or bargaining team member if you need more!)

  • Sign the strike pledge card at the link below if you have not already. Sign the Pledge Here >>

  • Attend our Contract Action Team (CAT) meetings & forthcoming Strike Trainings.

We will keep you updated as we confirm more bargaining dates. Stay tuned for more announcements!
