LabCorp CEO makes millions— Labcorp offers us 3%
/Our response to the employer’s mass communication to the Employees
THEY NEVER PUT IT ON THE TABLE.
When we made the Employer’s last proposal public, Labcorp’s supposal had not been given to the Union. We received it last Friday, and it was never formally presented at the bargaining table.
Proposal vs. supposal: a proposal is a formal offer at the table; a supposal is an informal “what if,” not a formal offer.
LabCorp's October 30, 2026 Supposal >>
$18 MILLION FOR THE CEO. 3% FOR US.
Labcorp CEO Adam H. Schechter’s reported 2025 total compensation was $18.34 million. The best Labcorp offers the people who do the work? According to our bargaining report, just 3% in the first year for nearly 40% of employees. That’s not respect. That’s an insult.
THEIR 3% WON’T SURVIVE THE PREMIUM HIKES.
Here’s what Labcorp is hiding: a 6% health-insurance premium increase in 2027, with possibly higher increases in 2028 and 2029. Every dollar taken back through premiums shrinks the raise. Workers deserve to know what coverage will cost and what will come out of our paychecks.
3% IS A PAY CUT IN SEATTLE.
Seattle-area prices rose 4.4% in the 12 months ending August 2026, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. A 3% raise is a real pay cut of about 1.3% before premiums.

Seattle living costs run about 43% above the national average. On a $50,000 salary, 3% is $1,500, but keeping up with 4.4% inflation takes $2,200. That’s $700 short each year, before the 6% premium hike.
TELLING THE TRUTH IS NOT AN ATTACK.
Instead of answering the facts, Labcorp goes after those telling the truth. Attacking the messenger doesn’t change the numbers. On health insurance, they refuse to bargain in good faith. We demand real answers and real protections against future cost increases—at the table, not behind our backs.
WE’RE GOING BACK TO THE TABLE: NOVEMBER 17 AND NOVEMBER 18.
The Union wants a fair agreement for every worker. WE WANT BREAD NOT CRUMBS!
FAIR RAISES. AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE. NO MORE HIDING. BARGAIN IN GOOD FAITH.
We’re not backing down. Stand together. Stay informed. Get involved.
