Olympic Medical Center Pro Tech Bargaining Update

We have started bargaining and have given Management both economic proposals and proposals that will update and elevate contract language. Although we have received some responses from Management, we anticipate responses to our economic proposals at our next session.

Management has presented us with an overview of OMC’s financial state and we were able to get some of our questions answered. We understand from Management that their goal is to improve the financial state of OMC by growing business and profits and not spending money on new equipment and resources. It does not sound like they want to increase staff, but want to maximize staffing.

We know we already work hard for our patients and for our community. We expect OMC to continue trusting and investing in us because we provide good patient care.

Our next bargaining session is May 4.
