MultiCare Covington Medical Center Bargaining Update

Our bargaining session on April 20 was very productive. At the beginning of the day, we separated out into our bargaining units to have discussions about the remaining open issues in each contract. Each unit came up with proposals that were passed across to the Employer through the mediator and resulted in a lot of tentative agreements. There are a few outstanding issues, however, we are very close to finishing everything outside of wages. Working with the mediator has been extremely helpful and we are looking forward to continue working with him to help resolve the remaining issues, including wages, at our next bargaining sessions on April 30 and May 11.
