Olympic Medical Center Home Health - Bargaining Update

Our Bargaining Team had a productive first day at the table, presenting management with a non-economic proposal package and beginning work on economic issues.

Day two looked different than expected because management was out sick. Even so, the Bargaining Team used the time to develop a comprehensive proposal package to present at the next session.

We remain focused, prepared, and committed to moving this process forward. We will continue to keep members updated as bargaining progresses.

Olympic Home Health - Contract Ratified

This week Union members at Olympic Medical Home Health overwhelming voted "YES" on a new Union contract which includes:

18.5% wage increases over three years
2%-26% market increases for most jobs
$1500 Bonus
$4 per hour Weekend Differential
On-Call Pay increased to $75 per night

Olympic Home Health Contract Vote

Olympic Home Health has reached an agreement The Committee fully recommends a “YES” vote

On February 26, the home health bargaining committee reached a tentative agreement with Management. We won across-the-board increases and market adjustment increases for half of the unit, including nurses and therapists. In addition, we won improvements to current contract language like: grievance process, required per diem work, and preceptor pay. Also due to the implementation of the new WA Paid Family Medical Leave program which everyone has access to 12 weeks of paid leave, OMHH will be changing the short term disability plan. In order to explain the changes precisely, we encourage everyone to attend the ratification vote. The full details of the tentative agreement will be made available on the ratification vote day.
