REI Bargaining Update
/We met with REI’s attorneys again this week to continue bargaining for a fair first contract for our coworkers. We discussed technology and data, union representation, communication, job vacancies and promotions, and health and safety. While we did not reach any tentative agreements, we had productive discussions and made a plan for the next few months of our campaign. We will bargain again in mid-January and February, which are open to members to attend! Come learn about union negotiations and be part of crafting our first ever contract. Talk a member of our Bargaining Team if you have questions or want more information.
Tini and Ian went to the annual celebration for environmental organization, Mountains to Sound Greenway, and spoke with Eric Artz, Sally Jewell, and many environmental justice leaders about our fight for a fair contract! We will continue to flyer at environmental and other community events.
Over 70% of our coworkers completed the National Employment Law Project (NELP) survey, which means we’ll be participating in the study!
