Seattle Children’s Hospital Technical Bargaining Begins!

Our Union Bargaining Team met with Seattle Children’s Hospital leadership and their chief negotiator this past Monday, December 16. The initial session was productive and moved rapidly. We have a few non-economic tentative agreements with Management around language in the contract but have many more open sections that are non-economic. We are cautiously optimistic about the process so far but understand all the folks in the technical unit are eager to hear what will happen with the economic items in the contract (wages, premium pay, holidays, etc.) Rest assured we will keep following each session with an update like this one!
As of right now, we have December 30 scheduled for another session this month. In January we agreed to negotiations on the 6, 13, and 27.
