Trios Health Enforcing Our Contract!
/In August of 2024 Trios RNs were notified by the Employer that there were errors in their PTO. We filed a grievance to ensure the errors were corrected and that no one’s PTO accruals were lost, or that RN’s PTO requests were denied.
Trios confirmed that corrections were made in the beginning of October, and that final adjustments had been made by the end of November.
The Union also made sure that any RN’s who retired or resigned from Trios had their accruals reviewed and corrected before they were cashed out.
This successful outcome underscores the critical role of the grievance process in enforcing our contract and holding the employer accountable. It demonstrates that when we stand together to uphold our contract, we achieve more successful outcomes for everyone. We understand there may still be lingering questions. That is why we have secured an agreement with the Employer to address any remaining errors. If you have concerns about your accruals, you can request an individual review through HR.
