Seattle Childrens Therapy Center Bargaining Update
/This was our first session with a federal mediator and we spent our time zeroing in on the actual priorities for our team, focusing on wages, PTO and our caseload calculator. While we did not receive responses to all of the things we passed across the table, the mediator stated that we had made a lot of progress. Management seems to be seriously considering our priorities and engaged in conversation on the importance of these three big topics. This gives us cautious hope that we are moving in a meaningful way towards our first contract.
Petition Update! We went out to community leaders throughout our service area to sign the petition and got signatures from people who support us in getting our first contract. We plan to present this at our next session if we are unable to reach an agreement.
