PCC Nominations for the Labor Management advisory Committee are open!

We are excited to announce that the 2026 nominations for the PCC Labor Management Advisory Committee (LMAC) will open on September 21, 2026. This is a great opportunity to nominate yourself or a coworker to help shape important decisions that impact PCC workers and our stores.

Online nominations will open for 12 vacant LMAC spots starting at 8:15am on September 21, 2026. The nomination window will close at 6pm on September 25, 2026. You must only nominate coworkers from your home store.

Who Sits on the LMC and the LMAC?

During our 2026 PCC contract bargaining process, our member-led team negotiated important updates to the Labor Management Committee structure to improve democratic governance. The LMC used to only include five unionized PCC staff members, two UFCW 3000 staff, and seven people selected by PCC Board. At the table this year, we created the LMAC, which is made up of 16 elected store representatives. The LMC now includes the eight regular attendees selected from the LMAC, plus the participants selected by PCC and those selected by the Board.

What Do the LMC and the LMAC Do?

  • The LMAC meets to study and recommend action on the following topics:

  • Profit-sharing and understanding the co-op’s business and financial model

  • Workplace improvements and enhancements

  • Staffing and training needs, including cross-training

  • Productivity and financial performance

  • Member/shopper experience

  • Merchandising and outsourcing practices

  • Store operations and community-related issues

The LMC meets at least four times per year. In addition to those meetings, LMAC members participate in quarterly prep meetings, which include three-to-four hours of paid time.

Which Stores Have Vacant Spots?

Online nominations will open for the following stores: Downtown, View Ridge, Fremont, Green Lake Village, Ballard, Edmonds, Redmond, Bothell, Central District, Columbia City, Bellevue, and Kirkland.

Current LMC members from the following stores do NOT need to run for positions: Burien, Green Lake Aurora, West Seattle, and Issaquah. Find the current members of the LMC here >>

What Are the Candidate Qualifications?

  • Qualified candidates must:

  • Be PCC employees in good standing;

  • Can represent the diversity of PCC’s workforce, including different backgrounds, roles, and experiences;
