National Bargaining was scheduled to take place this week, unfortunately, instead of bargaining, Kaiser has chosen to pause bargaining.
This pause is holding us up from getting our contract and getting wage increases in people’s pockets. Kaiser has been sending out messages about how badly they “want a deal” yet when it came time to sit at the table and work towards a deal, they walked away. We won’t reach agreement this way.
Kaiser has proposed that wage increases not be retroactive-the Alliance has not agreed to this, this issue is still being bargained. Bargaining can change day by day, hour by hour but we are committed to keeping you informed. More information to come on the collective actions we can take. We are asking Kaiser to stop wasting time and get back to the bargaining table.
