Downtown Dog Lounge Bargaining Update
/Our union was prepared to begin bargaining with Downtown Dog Lounge on March 30 and April 2, but both of those first scheduled bargaining sessions were canceled. While this delay was frustrating, our Bargaining Team remains hopeful and focused on the work ahead. We are currently working to reschedule bargaining for the end of April, and we remain committed to fighting for the issues that matter most to us: competitive wages and safe working conditions for both employees and the dogs in our care.
These first sessions were an important opportunity to begin discussions and put our priorities on the table. Even though bargaining has not yet started, our team is staying prepared and united. Delays will not change what we are fighting for, and we are ready to move forward as soon as new dates are confirmed.
Right now, the most important thing members can do is stay engaged and be ready. Talk with your coworkers, watch for updates, and be prepared to stand with our Bargaining Team as we work to get bargaining started. Our strength comes from sticking together, and that unity will matter every step of the way.
