Broadcast Coffee Bargaining Update

After more than a month since our last session, our Union Bargaining Team; Alyssa and Oliver were able to reconvene with the employer on October 19 to receive their economic counter proposal. Despite a disappointing start, we reached tentative agreements on three of our economics articles through a productive joint session. We believe we’re close to agreement on several more. Our team ended the day a few hours early, with the Employer reviewing the remainder of our most recent counter. We’re looking forward to a prompt response from the Employer so we can continue our momentum towards a first contract.

Our next bargaining session is still being confirmed and will likely be during the first week of November. Please stay tuned for our next bargaining update meeting, which we will be scheduling before our next bargaining date.
