/Our Bargaining Team met with the Employer on May 20 and 26 virtually for half-day sessions. We devoted many hours crafting a comprehensive economic proposal designed to secure fair compensation and stable health care benefits for everyone. Unfortunately, we feel the Employer’s response leaves our core workplace realities unaddressed. While we want to remain optimistic about reaching a fair agreement, we feel like this is a delay tactic rather than a true step forward.
We believe that some of the Employer’s responses and behaviors are in violation of the National Labor Relations Act and are potential unfair labor practices.
No guaranteed wages or wage increases!
No seniority!
No guaranteed health insurance consistency!
No access to health insurance for part-time or per diem workers!
No access to health insurance for anyone’s family!
No grievance arbitration!
The Employer continues to propose an increase to the work week by an additional day!
The Employer continues, in spite of the NLRB’s ruling, to insist that on-site workers are included in our recognition!
We are calling on every member to show support for our Bargaining Team and send a clear message to the Employer...
