Cascade Specialty Pharmacy Modification Vote Notice

Members at Cascade Specialty Pharmacy voted to ratify their new 3-year contract on March 31, 2021. However, some members expressed a desire to revert the paid time off (PTO) language for part-time employees back to the way it was before ratification.

Specifically, we have been asked to remove the new benefit that part-time employees are now eligible for PTO. The Union and the Employer are agreeable to this change; however, the changes must be approved by a full membership vote before they can go into effect. Note that everything else in our new contract (wages, retirement, etc) have already been approved and will not be affected by this vote.

Cascade Specialty Pharmacy - CONTRACT RATIFIED!

On Wednesday, March 31, union members at Cascade Specialty Pharmacy voted to ratify their new three-year contract! Our new contract includes a revamped wage scale and new 401k retirement plan with a 100% employer matching contribution of up to 6% of your total compensation.

The contract requires management to have the 401k plan set-up and ready to go no later than August 1, 2021. We highly encourage all members to participate in the new retirement plan when available.

Participation in the plan will not only ensure that you are maximizing your benefits package but will also be a huge investment in your future. Save for retirement today and thank yourself tomorrow!

Cascade Specialty Pharmacy vote deadline extended

Due to the current health crisis, we decided to host a mail-in vote to ensure that members can safety vote on their proposed contract. We mailed out ballots on March 4, unfortunately, it has come to our attention that the postal service is experiencing delays and ballots are not arriving as quickly as anticipated. As a result, we are extending the deadline to return your ballots by one week to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to have their voice heard.

OUR BARGAINING TEAM IS RECOMMENDING A YES VOTE

Our Bargaining Team is proud to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with management at Cascade Specialty Pharmacy! Despite the current struggle with COVID-19, we won a contract that heavily invests in member’s future with improvements such as:

• Revamped, more competitive wage scale

• New 401k retirement plan that includes 100% employer matching contribution of up to 6% of your total compensation

• PTO is now available to ALL employees, including part-time

We are working on setting up a mail-in contract vote to ensure that you can vote on your contract while staying safe and healthy. Cascade Specialty Pharmacy - You're Invited! Proposal Meeting

The time has arrived to open your Union contract and negotiate new and updated language, wages, and benefits. 

You should have already received a bargaining survey, therefore, the next step is to hold a proposal meeting when we will discuss the results of the survey, prioritize bargaining issues, and begin crafting our proposals. 

The proposal meeting will be held virtually through Zoom on Monday, November 23 @ 6:00 PM. You can join by either downloading the Zoom app or simply calling into the details listed. 

It will more important than ever to participate in the bargaining process as we deal with the unprecedented challenges during the global pandemic. We hope to see you at the proposal meeting, but in the meantime, please make sure you complete your bargaining survey and return it as soon as possible.
