“The bargaining committee’s strength is rooted in the collective power of the workplace—it comes from the solidarity of our co-workers.” —Our Bargaining Team
On Wednesday, November 5 our member-led Bargaining Team sat across the table from PCC for the first time this contract cycle. After introducing ourselves to the Employer, we discussed the outcomes from our bargaining survey, named our priorities for this bargain, and built solidarity within our team. Talk to the Bargaining Team member in your store for more detailed information!
Our priorities:
Wages
Job Security
Health Care
Job Advancements
Co-op Values
We will send the Employer our first proposal at the next bargaining meeting, which we scheduled for Friday, November 21. If you would like to join the bargaining process, please use this form to RSVP >>
Build Power: Join us for Contract Action Team Meeting!
At CAT meetings, union members work together to plan actions and build pressure to support the bargaining process. These meetings help keep the membership active, informed, and united so that we come to the table each session with the full strength of our co-workers behind us.
