Cascade Valley Hospital Tentative Contract Vote Scheduled!
/After eight months of Bargaining and the recent Tentative Agreement at the Skagit bargaining table, we are confident that a Tentative Agreement may be reached at the next bargaining session on Monday, April 13. To ensure that all the pieces are falling into the right place, we have tentatively scheduled a ratification vote for next Friday, April 17, concurrent with the Skagit vote. It is important to understand that this vote will happen only if an agreement is reached. We also have a backup bargaining day schedule for April 27.
Our Union Bargaining Team will continue working hard to reach the Tentative Agreement. Another fact is that the Board of Commissioners meeting is scheduled for Friday, April 24. Since Cascade Valley Hospital is a public institution, it requires approval before it goes live. The Commissioners are set to rest in May and June. If the right proposals are at the table on Monday, we will vote, or we will continue working until a fair and dignified deal is reached.
Tentative Contract Vote: Friday. April 17 from 6am—8am, 12pm—2pm, and 4pm—7pm
The exact location will be shared on Tuesday, pending what happens on Monday, and the voting event confirmation will be included in the bargaining update as well.
Only members in good standing are eligible to vote. We are stronger together- become a member today and vote on improvements to your union contract: https://join.ufcw.org/join/3000
