Aramark - We have reached a tentative agreement! It’s time to vote! ¡Hemos llegado a un acuerdo tentativo! ¡Es hora de votar!

After months of bargaining, we were able to reach a tentative agreement with Aramark. We were able to win competitive wage increases and slowdown the increase to health insurance premiums. We will be holding a contract vote at all three Aramark plants next week.  UFCW 3000 members in good standing are encouraged to attend a meeting, ask questions, and vote on the contract. Después de meses de negociación, pudimos llegar a un acuerdo tentativo con Aramark. Pudimos ganar aumentos salariales competitivos y disminuir el aumento a las deducciones del seguro médico. Tendremos un voto para el contrato en las tres plantas de Aramark la próxima semana. Miembros de UFCW 3000 que están al día con sus cuotas de Unión pueden asistir una reunión, hacer preguntas y votar sobre el contrato. Aramark - Contract was Approved! / ¡Se aprobó el contrato!

On September 21, all three plants voted to approve the collective bargaining agreement between UFCW 21 and Aramark Uniform Services! All employees who have been working since September 2019 shall receive a retroactive pay bonus and will receive a pay increase of $.80 on October 1, 2020. Also all leads will receive a $.75 increase on top of their base rate on September 26, 2020.

En el 21 de septiembre las tres plantas aprobaron el contrato entre UFCW 21 y Aramark Uniform Services. Todos los empleados que han trabajado desde septiembre del 2019 recibirán un bono y un aumento de $.80 el 1ro de octubre del 2020. Además todo los “leads” recibirán un aumento de $.75 a su salario empezando el 26 de septiembre del 2020.

Aramark - We Have a Deal! / ¡Témenos un acuerdo!

After almost a year of bargaining, your bargaining committee and Aramark have reached a tentative agreement! We fought for a better contract and were able to win higher wage increases, lead pay, pension contributions and improvements to contract language like vacation scheduling, funeral leave, and mandatory overtime. 

We will be holding an in-person vote on Monday September 21 from 8am to 11am at the Kent and Everett plants and 1pm at the Tacoma plant. 

We will have the full contract and highlights of the changes in multiple languages that day. UFCW 21 members in good standing are encouraged to attend a meeting, ask questions, and vote on the contract.

¡Después de casi un año de negociaciones, el comité de negociaciones y Aramark llegaron a un acuerdo! Peleamos por un mejor contrato y obtuvimos mejores aumentos, pago para los “leads” y contribuciones a la pensión. Además, cambiamos lenguaje del contrato: vacaciones, ausencia para funerales y “overtime.” 

La votación por el acuerdo será lunes 21 de septiembre a las 8am a 11am en Kent y Everett y 1pm en Tacoma. 

Vamos a tener el contrato completo y un repaso de los cambios en varios lenguajes ese día. Miembros de UFCW 21 que están al día con sus cuotas pueden atender la votación, hacer preguntas y votar por el contrato.

Aramark - Making Progress! / ¡Estamos avanzando!

El 17, 18 y 23 de agosto negociamos con Aramark. Tenemos unos acuerdos, pero no tenemos acuerdos sobre aumentos, contribuciones a la pensión, días de luto, pago para los “leads” y lenguaje sobre días de enfermedad. Aramark continúa proponiendo aumentos bajos y subir la aseguranza medica. 

Hemos rechazado sus propuestas, pero tenemos que demostrarles que estamos unidos y ¡dispuestos de pelear! Estamos casi a un año desde que el contrato se venció, pero estamos cerca de un acuerdo. ¡Tenemos que presionarlos! Aramark se ha dado cuenta de las camisas amarillas cada viernes y Aramark siente la presión. 

El sábado 29 de agosto vamos a tener una junta por teléfono para hablar sobre nuestros próximos pasos. 

On August 17, 18, and 23 we bargained with Aramark. We have some tentative agreements, but we have not reached an agreement on wage increases, lead pay, pension contributions, bereavement leave, and sick time language. Aramark continues to propose low hourly wage increases and increases to health insurance premiums. 

We have rejected their proposals, but we must show Aramark that we are united and willing to fight for higher wages! We are almost one year out from the expiration of the last contract and are close to an agreement, but we must pressure Aramark more! Every Friday we have been wearing union shirts and Aramark has taken notice.  

On Saturday August 29, we will be holding a telephone meeting to discuss how we will escalate our workplace actions.
