Después de dos días de votación, los trabajadores de Vestis votaron 100% a favor de autorizar una huelga.‍ ‍

Vestis debe tomar esto en serio. Los trabajadores merecen un contrato justo que mantenga su buen seguro médico, asegure una jubilación digna y ofrezca salarios que alcancen para el costo de vida que sigue subiendo.

After two days of voting, 100% of Vestis workers voted to authorize a strike. 

Vestis needs to take this as a wake-up call. Workers deserve a fair contract that maintains their high-quality health care, delivers a dignified retirement, and provides a wage that keeps up with skyrocketing costs.

After months of negotiations with Vestis, our Union Bargaining team is calling for a contract vote on the company’s latest proposal from March 23, along with a strike authorization vote.

The company committed to responding to our latest proposal on Tuesday March 30 and failed to do so. They now say their financial team is still working on it. Meanwhile, workers are still waiting for real wage increases. Enough is enough.
