After more than six months of negotiations and uniting at our Hospital, our Bargaining Team has reached a tentative agreement and recommends a YES VOTE!
The time has come to make your voices heard! We encourage all nurses to attend our scheduled vote meeting to review the full details of our new tentative agreement, ask questions, and cast your ballot!
During our final bargaining date on September 8, our team focused our collective energy on defining regional market wages that would raise our pay to be competitive with Tacoma over the duration of the three (3) year contract contract and allow us to recruit and retain nurses.
HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:
Regionally competitive wages
Removal of all ghost steps in our wage scale
2:1 for LPN experience credit towards placement on the scale; and an audit for currently employed RNs so their experience is factored into their wage scale placement
Full recognition for past experience for Case Managers and Palliative Care RNs who joined our union in 2023!

New Float Premium for resource float nurses, including the ability to earn a higher premium as additional core competencies are gained!
$25,000 minimum commitment from Providence dedicated to improving security & safety in the PSPH on-site parking lot!
