Olympic Medical Center Health Care Secured on Productive Day of Bargaining!

Our OMC Service Bargaining Team came to the table on September 4 prepared to have collaborative and productive discussions with management and we made meaningful progress.

Management heard our concerns and engaged in productive conversations around several important issues, including Union Representative access, vacation, scheduling, and more.

A Major Win: Protecting Our health care

Management withdrew their proposal to make changes to our health care. This is a major step in the right direction and an important win for our bargaining unit.

While we still have both economic and non-economic issues to work through, our team is encouraged by the movement we saw today and remains optimistic about reaching a strong contract that reflects the priorities of OMC Service members.

“I’m feeling optimistic that we are moving in the right direction.” — Rachel Ringer

“Today’s momentum is a positive step in the right direction.” — Deviney Blore

“Progress is built on partnerships, and we have made meaningful progress toward a contract we can be proud of.” — Kim Goss

Our team will continue to stay focused, stand together, and push for a contract that OMC Service members deserve.
