Member Bargaining Team Recommends a YES Vote!
After months of negotiations, leafleting, info-picketing, a 97% strike authorization vote in June, and ratification votes from grocery store workers in many Puget Sound Allied Grocery Stores, our Union Bargaining Team harnessed all that power from thousands of grocery workers to fight and win a fair contract. All that organizing helped win:
First-of-its-kind staffing language
Strong Journey wage increases
Health and pension funding that sees no benefits cuts
Contract alignment with Snohomish Grocery and Spokane-area grocery/meat, uniting nearly 30,000 grocery workers across Washington State in one flight
Now it is our turn to vote! Our union member-led bargaining team reached a tentative agreement and recommends a YES vote.
These votes are open to all active members of UFCW 3000 grocery stores in Jefferson/Clallam Counties Grocery & Meat for Albertsons, Safeway, and QFC

Members in good standing may vote once - either in person or vote online. Members who cast an in-person ballot will not receive an online voting link. Members who do not attend an in-person session may vote electronically on December 5 from 5am to 5pm.
Contract proposal meetings
Members are encouraged to review the tentative agreement and discuss questions at the in person vote meetings December 2 and 3, or online during the Zoom informational meeting on December 5 between 7am and 5pm. Participation in discussion is optional and not required to vote. Just like the in-person votes, if a member has any question regarding the proposal or a technical issue accessing their ballot, they may join this online meeting or call 1-866-210-3000 to speak to a Union Rep:

If you wish to participate in this vote by casting your ballot online, be sure to update your personal information, including your current email address.

If you are newly hired, we encourage participation in an in person voting location to ensure your eligibility to cast a ballot.
The online voting portal system will be open on Friday, December 5, from 5am to 5pm.
On December 5 at 5am eligible members who did not vote in person will receive an email that contains their unique log in and password and a link to the secure election page. Once logged in, members will be able to review the vote materials, and the fully recommended settlement agreement (FRS) proposed changes before casting their ballot.
If you do not receive an email and have not already voted in person, you should join the online contract proposal meeting or call 1-866-210-3000.
Members that vote in person on December 2 and 3 will not receive an email to cast an online ballot.
All ballots will be counted on Friday, December 5.
