After months of bargaining, leafleting, info-picketing, a 97% strike authorization vote in June 2025, our union Bargaining Team harnessed all that power from thousands of grocery workers to fight and win a fair contract.
All that organizing helped win:
First-of-its-kind staffing language
Strong Journey wage increases
Health and pension funding that sees no benefits cuts
Contract alignment with Snohomish Grocery and Spokane-area grocery/meat, uniting nearly 30,000 grocery workers across Washington State in one flight

Now it is our turn to vote! Our union member-led bargaining team reached a tentative agreement and recommends a YES vote to accept the proposal from the employer.
These votes are open to all active Grocery and Meat members of UFCW 3000 at The Markets in Anacortes and Food Pavillion in Sedro Woolley.
Members in good standing are eligible to vote at the following location and date:
Thursday, January 22 from 8am to 12pm
The Market in Anacortes, 1519 Commercial Ave. Anacortes, WA 98221 in the Break Room
Thursday, January 22 from 1pm to 5pm
Food Pavillion in Sedro Woolley, 530 Crossroads Square, Sedro Woolley, WA 98284 in the Break Room
Our Team will present the tentative agreement received from the Employer at the vote meeting. Members will have the opportunity to discuss the terms and implications of the fully recommended settlement offer before voting on it.
