The Grocery Industry: Executive Suite to Shop Floor

Grocery executives are working to grab every penny from their workers and members of our communities. Every contract negotiation is an opportunity to fight for what we deserve and work to steer the grocery industry back on track, to focus on what matters: delivering quality customer service and great products to feed our neighbors.
On November 13 from 10am to 12pm, our Union is hosting a discussion with grocery industry expert Errol Schweizer. Errol has over 25 years of experience working in and writing about the grocery industry, technological trends, and how Unions are key to the future of thriving grocery stores for our communities. This discussion will focus on what grocery executives are thinking about for the future of the industry, how Unions and communities can contribute to a different vision, and it will be an opportunity for a robust conversation to share our experiences as grocery workers.
