Childrens Therapy Center Bargaining Update

Before we met with the Employer, we sent the Children’s Therapy Center board, CEO and managers, the petition that we signed. This resulted in the Employer moving on wages, however, this was not for all positions and was not enough to come to a deal. The Employer pointed to the losses the company had incurred in 2023 and 2024 as justification for their offer; however, we believe that does not reflect the current position of the company and we are requesting that information. Their analysis also ignored that the executives of the company got a pretty significant raise, even during a period of losses. We will be requesting the most recent financial information from CTC to understand more about the current situation. While there were some tentative agreements that were reached, our package proposals were largely ignored and the movement was not as much as we would have liked.

We have been made aware of potential unfair labor practices, which are currently being reviewed. Training on how to identify them will be provided at the next CAT meeting, which will be on May 28 at 6:00pm (link below).
