CHI St. Anne Hospital ProTech Our work is worth a respected and dignified salary!
/We have met the Employer twice; while we have made progress in some non-economic language, the Employer has continued to cry out loud about their current financial situation. Our committee has listened over and over to the Employer's negotiators' insinuations that our work is somehow less worthwhile than other employees in the hospital. Our committee knows the value of our work and knows its responsibility to communicate it loudly and clearly to the Employer.
We have reached Tentative Agreements on the following topics:
Bargaining Unit Roster
Access to Premises - Union Staff
Health Tests
Employee Concerns
Per Diem placement recalculation when transitioning to FTE
Overtime
Meals and Breaks periods
Grievance Procedures
Committees
We are set to meet the Employer again on August 6 and 27. You must become part of this process and ensure that your committee gets the strength and stamina to finish this contract negotiation with the best outcome possible regardless of the hurdles that they are facing at the table.
“We know our worth. The real question is do they?” - Michelle Grennan, CT Tech.
