Sea Wolf Bakers Union Contract Bargaining Commences!

Our Union Bargaining Team is excited to share an update following our first Sea Wolf Bakers contract bargaining session on Tuesday, March 25! To begin negotiations, we met with the Employer and shared our initial round of non-economic proposals. Our bargaining team had productive conversations about Union Access, Employee Orientation, Gender Equity & Safety, and Heat Regulation practices. During discussions we made significant strides toward several tentative agreements, and we are ready to continue the conversation soon. Our Bargaining Team will continue to discuss the Employer’s counters, and prepare our proposals on economic issues like wages, PTO, holidays, and other benefits.
We have confirmed dates for our future sessions and look forward to sharing more information as it becomes available. Look for updates following sessions scheduled April 22, April 29, May 13, and May 20.
