MultiCare Covington Hospital Tentative Agreement Reached!

Our Bargaining Team is Recommending a YES Vote.

After ten months of determined advocacy and solidarity, we are excited to announce we have reached Tentative Agreements with the employer for strong three-year contracts for Service, Technical and RN units.

Tentative Agreements include:

  • Strong Wage Increases – Significant wage improvements over the life of the contract that recognize the value of our work and help members mitigate rising costs.

  • Improved Low Census Protections – Important improvements to low census language that provide greater stability, fairness, and predictability for employees when census levels fluctuate.

  • Improved Extra Shift Language – Stronger extra shift provisions that create clearer processes and expanded opportunities for members seeking additional work, while helping ensure staffing needs are met fairly and consistently.

  • Secured and Improved Benefits – Protection of valuable benefits for members and their families, preserving and improving important healthcare and other benefits.

These achievements are a direct result of the strength and unity demonstrated by members across every job classification. The signing of petitions and strike pledges helped push the employer to make meaningful movement on issues that matter most to our members.

While there is still work to do, this Tentative Agreement represents significant progress and meaningful improvements in wages, working conditions, and job security.
