Macy’s Contract Votes Scheduled!
/After months of negotiating with Macy’s management, our Bargaining Team reached a Tentative Agreement and recommends a YES vote to accept the proposal from Macy’s.
Now is your opportunity to vote and make your voice heard! The vote on this agreement is open to all active members of Macy’s Retail and Furniture Gallery contracts.
Our member-led Bargaining Team fully recommends this agreement, which includes key wins such as:
Higher increases to GWI
Retro pay to June 1, 2026
Ratification bonus
Contract language ensuring worker’s rights to representation during disciplinary meetings
Defended against Employer’s proposal to have key days assigned to Flex Colleagues
Defended against Employer’s proposal that would give them sole and exclusive discretion to change or eliminate our health care
Defended against Employer’s attempt to extend the period of time a colleague stays on a Final Warning
This was a long fight for all of us, and your bargaining team is excited to review the full offer with all members at our vote meetings.
The most important thing you can do now is show up to a vote meeting near you on September 10 so you can get all your questions answered and cast your vote on the contract!
