Sam Zoller

Sumitra (Sam)Zoller is a Health Unit Coordinator/Certified Nursing Assistant at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco Washington. She has been a loyal employee and has been with the organization for over 15 years and helped organize the union in 2020/2021 and then served on the first contract bargaining committee. Sam became a strong advocate for unionization when she stopped getting raises after the 10-year mark and felt that was unfair to her and many of her co-workers facing the same situation. After being part of the bargaining team her workplace leadership continued as a shop steward. Sam is active in her community and cooks for her elderly neighbors a few times a week and watches over them and helps them out when needed. Leadership is more than being “in charge” of an organization or a team of people, it is often seeing what needs to be done and then stepping up to help make it happen!
