Following highly attended vote meetings throughout Tuesday, February 18, our Mary Bridge RN union bargaining team are thrilled to announce that our 2024 – 2027 Collective Bargaining Agreement has been overwhelmingly ratified!
We spent six long months in negotiations with MultiCare, working diligently each session to demand higher wages & stronger workplace protections- with a key focus on safety, avoiding burnout, and development of our nursing careers- we are thankful that our determination and focus resulted in a contract that will serve as the building blocks for change in achieving these goals, and make nurses at Mary Bridge stronger than ever.
What happens next?
MultiCare and our union will be working to finalize copies of our new Collective Bargaining Agreement so it can be signed & printed for distribution!
Look forward to the first full pay period following February 18th for our new wages to go into effect!
Our $1,500 ratification bonus will be paid on the pay day of the second full pay period following February 18!
