FIRST UNION CONTRACT RATIFIED!

On Monday, July 20, following a series of well-attended vote meetings, our MultiCare Capital Medical Center Professionals Bargaining Team is overjoyed to announce that our First Ever Union Contract has been ratified!

Through perseverance, dedication, and solidarity, we have transformed MultiCare Capital Medical Center and are proudly UNION REPRESENTED PROFESSIONALS!

What are the next steps?
The experience audit form- which will be used to calculate our years of working experience and place us accordingly on the union wage scales (at no decrease to our current rate!)- will follow the following timelines:

  • Within thirty (30) days from ratification (yesterday), the form will be sent to our work email to complete.

  • Once it’s been sent to us, the form will be open for thirty (30) days to return to MultiCare

  • The Employer will notify us all of our step placement, and wages will then be paid retroactively dating back to the first full payroll period following ratification (meaning the first full payroll period after July 20, 2026)

  • If you have any questions, or have a dispute regarding your proposed placement from MultiCare, please reach out our union representative, Penny Cramer, as soon as you’ve been notified!
    The Employer and our Union will work on reviewing, formatting, and finalizing our new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Once ready with signatures, it will be made available online & distributed throughout the hospital.
