PCC PCC Left Us Hanging

On Jan 14, our member-led Bargaining Team came to the table expecting a response to the proposals we delivered last session. Unfortunately, PCC was not ready to respond.

But their apparent lack of preparation didn’t stop our team from making the following proposals:

  • Better staff discounts so we can afford the products we proudly sell.

  • A new process to pick up shifts at other locations so we can get the hours we need.

“What kind of co-op makes it necessary for its staff to fight for a living wage? – Ben Bonyhadi, PCC Ballard

To reclaim our co-op, we need to show PCC’s administrators how united we are in our fight for better wages, sustainable staffing solutions, better health care and retirement benefits, and more career advancement opportunities for all.
